All staff receive HSSE training and participate in drills designed to ensure maximum preparedness. However, emphasis on awareness and preparation in no way precludes a focus on prevention. Delta takes great pains in designing its facilities, sourcing itsequipment and in creating its operating procedures. Leading international engineering and design experts like Briggs Environmental Services (UK), Tebodin Consultants and Engineers (Holland) and Zenith Gamma (UK) help to ensure that our facilities meet or exceed the latest HSSE standards. Our aim is to ensure every possible risk is minimized or eliminated where possible. These measures along with training and preventive maintenance are monitored continuously by internal and third-party HSSE auditors.

In addition to our proactive stance on environmental issues, Delta is an involved member and supporter of a number of Turkish environmental protection groups, including Deniz Temiz TURMEPA, which works to ensure the cleanliness and health of Turkey's seas and the Bosphorus straits.
