Delta Petroleum received license for production of lubricants under Gulf Oil brand, for 30 years.

Certificates of Conformity to Turkish Standards were received for Gulf Oil lubricants; TS 12330 for Diesel Engine Lubricants, TS ISO 11153 for Hydraulic System Lubricants and TS 11485 for Gear and Transmission Lubricants.

Delta Group, one of Turkey’s foremost names in the energy sector, has decided to extend its 25 years of experience to the Sudanese market as well. Delta Logistics, the first phase of Delta Group’s investment in Sudan, will offer services with a fleet of specially designed 300 new trucks and 600 trailers fitted with state-of-the-art satelite imaging systems. 60 million dollars were invested in Delta Logistics, the first world standard logistics company in Sudan. Delta Group celebrated the opening of the second phase of the biggest storage terminal of Georgia in the presence of a large group of guests on November 18, 2006, in Poti. The first phase had been completed in October, 2002. Georgian President Mikhail Saakshvili and Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli also attended the opening hosted by the Delta Group Executive Board Chairman Mehmet Habbab.
