A seminar organised by the Economist took place on 19 April 2011 in Swissotel İstanbul. Financial Affairs Group Manager Arda Tunca attanded the seminer as a panelist speaker on monitoring and managing foreign exchange risks.
Mehmet Habbab is the Chairman and Coordinator for DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey) Middle East Business Council and has recently been appointed as the Chairman for the newly formed Turkish-Arab Businessmen Federation, he is also the Chairman of the Turkish-Lebanese Business Council at DEIK, Vice Chairman of the Turkish-Iraqi Businessmen Council.

Delta Group celebrated the opening of the second phase of the biggest storage terminal of Georgia in the presence of a large group of guests on November 18, 2006, in Poti. The first phase had been completed in October, 2002. Georgian President Mikhail Saakshvili and Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli also attended the opening hosted by the Delta Group Executive Board Chairman Mehmet Habbab.
